The control panel calls back memories; looks like a copper one...
Here is a back view.
As you can see, the handle has just disappeared. I put it on my AC50.
The speaker is a little 'blue" one. Of course this is not an Alnico "real" one, but it sounds rather good...
Something hurts me: I know American Pathfinders have effect line and additional speaker jacks; why don't we, European customers, have these?????????
But here is the most important: the sound. It is really good! In the beginning, I was really unhappy, but after a few weeks, I can tell you this little amp screams! And it has a warm sound , kinda reminiscent of its biggest brothers. Bravo!
The Vox Pathfinder Page.
Here is the new, solid-state Pathfinder that has nothing in common with the "real" 60's Pathfinder except it's mainly a practice amp.
It was given for 15watts and the rear
panel tells 22watts; My ears can say these are LOUD!
Of course this amp is 1999-made, so it
has modern features, such as a gain control, a booster and a Headphone Jack.
But there are traces from the past, such as a really good tremolo.
